File List

Overview

The File List dialog lets you define the set of source PDF files and their order when generating a Table of Contents that spans multiple documents. Use this dialog to add, remove, and reorder files before TOC generation so that page numbers and cross-file bookmark destinations resolve correctly.

How to use

  1. Open the TOC Builder multi-file workflow.
  2. Click the File List button to open the dialog.
  3. Use Add to browse for and select one or more PDF files.
  4. Arrange the files into the desired order using the Move Up and Move Down buttons.
  5. To remove a file, select it in the list and click Remove.
  6. Click OK to confirm the file list and return to the main TOC Builder dialog.
