Remove Blank Pages

Automatically detect and remove blank or near-blank pages from a PDF.

Overview

The Remove Blank Pages tool analyses each page of a PDF and removes pages that contain no content elements (no text, images, or vector graphics). This is useful for cleaning up documents that contain genuinely empty separator or filler pages. Note: detection is structural — a blank page produced by a scanner is actually a full-page white image, which counts as content and will not be detected as blank.

How to Use

  1. Navigate to Remove Blank Pages from the Page Management menu.
  2. Upload your file using drag-and-drop, Browse Files, or cloud storage (Dropbox / Google Drive).
  3. Click Remove Blank Pages to process.
  4. Download the result when processing completes.

Options

The tool uses automatic blank page detection. Pages with no text, images, or vector content are identified as blank and removed. Detection is based on whether a page contains any content elements, not on analysing pixels, so a page is only treated as blank when it is structurally empty.

Tips & Notes

Tip

Review the page count before and after processing to confirm the correct pages were removed. Pages with very faint watermarks or headers may be considered non-blank.

Note

If you know exactly which pages to remove, use Remove Pages for precise control.
