PDF to BMP

Render every PDF page as an uncompressed BMP image.

Overview

The PDF to BMP tool renders each page of a PDF document as an uncompressed BMP bitmap image. BMP's main virtue is universal compatibility — virtually every piece of Windows software ever written can open it — which makes this tool useful for legacy systems and specialised imaging tools. A single-page PDF downloads as one BMP; multi-page PDFs are delivered as a ZIP archive with one image per page.

Accepted InputOutput
.pdf.bmp (ZIP for multi-page PDFs)

How to Use

  1. Navigate to PDF to BMP from the Conversion menu.
  2. Upload your file using drag-and-drop, Browse Files, or cloud storage (Dropbox / Google Drive).
  3. Select a quality level (150, 300, or 600 DPI).
  4. Click Convert to BMP to process.
  5. Download the result when processing completes.

Tips & Notes

Tip

Unless a legacy system specifically requires BMP, PDF to PNG gives the same lossless quality at a fraction of the file size, and PDF to JPG is smaller still.

Note

A single-page PDF downloads directly as one .bmp file. Multi-page PDFs are delivered as a ZIP archive containing one BMP per page.
