Overview
Create Destinations From Page Labels creates one named destination for
every page that has a page label, using the label text as the destination name. Each
destination shows its whole page (a Fit view). Labels in any language are
preserved exactly.
This turns a labelled document into one that can be deep-linked by label: a URL such as
document.pdf#iv or a link action naming the destination iv
jumps straight to the page labelled iv.
How to use
- Open a PDF whose pages have labels (see Create Page Labels).
- Go to Plug-Ins > Utilities > Named Destinations > Create Destinations From Page Labels.
- If the document already has named destinations, choose whether to remove them first or add to them.
- A message reports how many destinations were created. Save the document to keep them.
Note
Pages without a label are skipped. If two pages carry the same label text, the later page's destination replaces the earlier one — destination names must be unique within a PDF.

Use Export Named Destinations to Text File afterwards to review the full list of created destinations.
