Change Text Color

Overview

Change Text Color modifies the colour of all text on selected pages to a new colour of your choice. This is useful for converting coloured text to black for cleaner printing, changing text to a corporate brand colour, or making text more visible against a particular background.

How to use

  1. Open a PDF document in Acrobat.
  2. Go to Plug-Ins > Pages > Change Text Color.
  3. Select the page range to process.
  4. Click the colour swatch to open the colour picker and choose the new text colour.
  5. Click OK to apply the colour change.

Options

OptionDescription
Page range The pages on which to change text colour. Choose All pages or specify a From / To range.
New colour The replacement colour for all text. Click the colour swatch to open the standard Windows colour picker dialog, where you can choose a preset colour or define a custom colour using RGB values.

Note

This operation changes the fill colour of all text elements on the selected pages. It does not distinguish between different original colours — all text is set to the single chosen colour.

Warning

This operation modifies the page content stream directly and cannot be undone. Save a backup of your document before applying colour changes.
